Chloé Grégoire

I am Chloé Grégoire, mental performance consultant and member of the Canadian Sports Psychology Association I have had an interest in psychology since the start of my school career and I was looking to get involved in this area in a way that would make the brain an ally in performance rather than an enemy to be neutralized. I then discovered the psychology of work which led me to sports psychology where my interest for the brain, well-being, sports and performance could be part of my daily life. I have practiced several sports including cheerleading, swimming, gymnastics and horse riding which allow me today to understand the reality of the individual and team athlete.

 

I want to continue my learning in mental performance continuously and my goal in this area is to help athletes / artists / entrepreneurs to make their brain an ally in their pursuit of performance and well-being.

My Background

I first did a bachelor's degree in psychology at the University of Montreal followed by a master's degree in human kinetics with a concentration in consultation and intervention at the University of Ottawa. I am a professional member of the Canadian Sports Psychology Association. I am currently working with the Conseil de Développement Excellence Sportive Laurentides (CDESL) and in private with athletes and artists in the Lanaudière and Laurentides region. I work both face-to-face and online, so no matter where you are located, we can work together one way or another.

What is mental performance consulting?

The mental performance consultant guides the development of mental and emotional skills with the goal of improving performance, fostering positive personal development and increasing autonomy. By working on mental skills such as focus, visualization, self-confidence, motivation, goal setting, stress management and more, the client can take control of his thoughts, emotions, feelings and actions.
